  EUCLID CREEK VOLUNTEER WATER
  QUALITY  MONITORING PROGRAM

ECVMP Monitoring Sites

Initially, five sites have been chosen for monitoring within the Euclid Creek Watershed.  The primary concern was to find sites with public access and where samples could be collected by citizens safely.  At all but one site, volunteer monitors will collect grab samples by lowering a plastic beaker/bucket into the stream from the sidewalk on a bridge.  The sample from the other site is collected using the same plastic beaker thrown into the stream from the shoreline.  The five sites also provide a representative distribution within the watershed.
